Located 1hr 15 minutes from Invercargill in beautiful Catlins, the Cathedral Caves visit is at the mercy of nature when viewing times are open. The caves soar 30m skyward from the sandy shore. You must visit close to either side of high tide between October and May as you are unable to access during the winter months, and the walk does require a small entry fee from the carpark.
