The Onawe Pa track is a moderate loop track 3.1kms in length near Akaroa. The trail is moderate rising some 80 metre from sea level. Commanding views out from this former Maori Pa site out over the Akaroa Harbour.
Please note, you cannot take food or eat as this Pa Site as its still scared and it is forbidden (tapu) to eat where warriors have died.
