Ezi offers a range of child safety seats, suitable for babies and children. Available to hire for short or long term, we want to help get you and your family on the road safely and quickly. Simply add these as an ‘Option’ when booking your rental car online.

| Toddler Seat – Forward Facing | Best suited for toddlers aged 2 years to 4 years. Approximately 9kg to 18kg. |
| Child Booster Seat – Forward Facing | Best suited for children aged 4 years to 7 years*. Approximately 15kg to 36kg. |
* Best practice recommends that children stay in a booster seat until they are 148cm tall.
It is a requirement whilst driving in New Zealand that all children under 7 years of age must use an approved child restraint appropriate for their age and size.

It is important to note that Ezi Car Rental staff are not trained child restraint technicians. All care is taken to ensure car seats are fitted correctly, however it is the driver’s responsibility to check that the child restraint has been adjusted according to the child’s size and weight and fitted correctly to the vehicle.
