Visit Gollum’s Pool

Start: The Tawhai Falls walk is very easy 20 minute walk located just off the road to the Chateau Resort in National Park. Take State Highway 48, drive 2.4km, and the Falls carpark is on the left. Look for signs on SH48 before the Chateau Resort. Check Google Maps Directions
The destination is famous for starring in the Lord of the Rings movie as Gollum’s Pool. This easy track leaves the carpark and goes down to the pools and should only take you about 10 minutes to walk to the lookout platform.
